New Lease of Life Foundation was established with a clear vision: to transform the lives of homeless youth through comprehensive training and development programs. Our founders recognized that homelessness among young people was not just a housing issue, but a complex challenge requiring holistic solutions.
We developed our three-pillar training framework: Technical Skills, Life Skills, and Entrepreneurship. Working with industry experts, educational institutions, and community leaders, we created programs that address real market needs while building personal capacity and confidence.
Our first cohort of 25 young people began their transformation journey. Through intensive boot camps, skills training, and mentorship, we witnessed the incredible potential that exists within every individual when given the right opportunities and support.
Our graduates began securing employment, starting businesses, and becoming mentors to new participants. The community response was overwhelming, with over 100 volunteers joining our mission and partners stepping forward to support our work.
Today, we continue to expand our programs, reaching more young people and creating lasting change in communities across South Africa. Our model is proving that with the right approach, we can break cycles of poverty and homelessness, one life at a time.
